Mugrage Park (or "squishy park," as my kids call it) is one of my family's favorites. It is a huge, super fun, inclusive playground, fishing lake, paved walking trail, and dog park on Windfall road in Medina. The entire surface of the playground area is a springy rubber surface which makes those inevitable falls a little less painful.
The park hosts a large play structure with three levels of ramps (wheelchair friendly), slides, several climbing areas, and monkey bars. Situated throughout the park are play areas with gears, music makers, and other fun games that even toddlers can reach.

A smaller play structure for younger kiddos, and swings (including one high-backed special needs swing and 2 baby swings).
The playground at Mugrage park does not offer much shade, so it's a good idea to go early in the morning or later in the afternoon. The earlier hours also tend to be less busy, this park gets pretty crowded later in the day!
One of our favorite features of Mugrage Park is the "Story Walk," which is a collaboration between the Medina County Park District and the Medina County Public Library System. Along the paved walking trail through the woods are a series of platforms. Each platform holds the next page in a story, so your family can experience nature and reading all at once. It is a fun and exciting way to get the kiddos into a book! My 2 big kids love to take turns reading the pages before racing ahead to the next one. The path begins behind the play area and circles around back to the parking lot.
Mugrage Park is also home to a fishing lake with a paved trail all the way around it. My oldest brings her scooter or bike and rides around the lake while her siblings play on the playground.
Mugrage Park is a must visit in Medina county, the kids will stay busy all afternoon playing, running, swinging, climbing and more!
