Playground Review: Kid City in Brunswick

June 11, 2017

3637 Center Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212

Kid City is located in front of the Brunswick Recreation Center and across the street from the library on Center Road in Brunswick.  Set up like local safety towns, Kid City is made up of several small, child-sized buildings that are situated like a little town.  There are street signs and "roads" painted on the ground.  Kid City is a great place for smaller kids to play and ride bikes.  Many of the buildings are sponsored by local businesses and organizations, and the buildings' designs reflect those businesses.  The Five Star Gymnastics buildings has rings for the little ones to swing on, the library building has a little box with books for kids to take home (my 2 year old loved opening and closing the door and looking at the books),  there is a police station, and several more.

A trip to the library followed by some playtime at Kid City is a great, one-stop day of fun.  Your kids will have a blast running through the "roads" from building to building!  If you have more than one little one it can be hard to keep an eye on them as they duck into different buildings, but Kid City isn't usually too busy, so you won't lose the kiddos in the crowd.  This one is definitely worth a visit.
