Fred Greenwood Park is home to one of the two splash pads in Medina county. Your kids will have a great time at this park! The main draw is the splash pad, which is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day each year. The splash pad is large and has many attractions, including water being dumped from above, colored arches that spray water for the kids to run through, sprinklers to play in and more. The splash pad is surrounded by a grassy area to spread your blanket and watch the kids, and there are a few canopies for shade - but you need to get there early to claim one! The splash pad gets very busy on hot days.

Next to the splash pad are the play structures and swing set. There is one play structure for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. There are 3 regular swings, 1 baby swing, and my favorite is the swing that has a baby swing and a regular swing facing each other, so the big kid can swing together with the little one!

In addition to the splash pad and play structures, Fred Greenwood Park in Medina has lots of open green space for running and playing. The restrooms are large and conveniently located.

Fred Greenwood park is a favorite of my family's, but I recommend going early on a weekday or during lunchtime to avoid the crowds! Pack a picnic, you could easily spend a full day here.
