The Wadsworth Grizzly Outdoor Pool is a collaboration between the city of Wadsworth and the Akron area YMCA. It has a pool, water slides, a diving board, and an area for younger children.

The area for younger kids is great! I mean, the whole pool is awesome but the little kid area blew me away. Inside the fenced in area there is a sand volley ball court, plenty of chairs, and multiple extra large umbrellas to keep out of the sun during adult swim. The diving board and free fall slide are lots of fun for bigger kids. The pools aren’t huge so can get crowded. The pools are heated and were a perfect temperature (not cold at all but cool enough to get some relief from the heat). It could get pricey at $8 per adult and $6 per kid age 1+ but on random hot summer days, this will be our go to place.

They also have a whole rack of over 15 puddle jumpers to borrow while there, as well as multiple sizes of regular style life jackets.

Hours:
Daily 11:00am-7:00pm Memorial Day through Labor Day - pool will be closed if temperature drops below 70 degrees.

Daily Fees:
$8/adults, $6/children under 18, Infants under one year old are free

Season Passes are available. See more information here.
