June 10, 2021

Macaroni Kid Medina will be hosting a Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 10a - 2p at the Diamond Event Center, 1480 Pearl Rd, Brunswick. Attendees can look forward to a magic show and balloon creations from Nate the Great, an animal show from Jungle Bob, Princess visits, stories, games, and photo opportunities from Custom Princess Parties, Gelly Ball target practice with NEO Extreme Games, police car, fire truck, “Stuff the School Bus,” crafts, bubbles, giveaways, and more.  Parents and families can connect with local businesses providing giveaways and activities. Families are encouraged to bring a new school supply to “Stuff the Bus” benefiting local students.

“We are very excited to be bringing this event to the community,” shares Erica Roth, publisher and editor for Macaroni Kid Medina. “We are always looking for ways to bring family fun to our readers.  Connecting local businesses with families is at the heart of what we do. We are planning for a big event with lots of FREE fun activities for the families that join us.”

Nate the Great Magic and Balloon Art is a well-loved local favorite and will be delighting the children with his balloon creations from 10am-11am and again from 12pm-2pm. Between 11am and 12pm he will take the stage and “WOW” the children and adults with his amazing magic show.

From 1pm-2pm will be Jungle Bob’s “can’t miss” exotic animal show. He will be sharing fun animal facts along with a great show exhibiting a variety of unusual animals.

Outside, we are thrilled to be partnering with Kimberlee Bublik’s long-standing Brunswick “Stuff the Bus” event with a police car, fire truck, and, of course, a school bus that we will be stuffing with school supplies to donate to local Medina county students. Make sure to bring a new school supply to help “Stuff the Bus!”

Have your picture taken with a princess and enjoy magical storytimes, interactive games, and more from Customized Princess Parties at their booth throughout the duration of the event.

Have you heard of Gelly Ball? It’s the best of NERF, Laser Tag, and Paintball all rolled into one and it’s perfectly safe and fun for everyone. NEO Extreme Games will be outside with their inflatable target practice so you can try your hand at this new craze.

The first 250 children through the door will receive a reusable canvas drawstring bag to decorate on-site and fill with giveaways from our local business partners. Many of the booths will have even more activities for the kids to participate in or take home. Make sure to stop and play at our outdoor bubble station while you’re there!
