Medina County Arts Council announces Annual Arts Week for July 12-16

July 4, 2021

For the thirty-eighth year, Medina County Arts Council is giving the Medina County community a week-long gift of free art experiences.

The middle week of July, the 12th through the 16th, , will feature many art performances, demonstrations and activities. While visiting the Arts Week activities around Medina’s gazebo, attendees can add their own artistic touch to a community mural for all to enjoy. Brunswick Library will be distributing take-and-make activity clay art grab bags for teens during Arts Week. Medina County Art Council is also providing free art classes for underrepresented children in Medina at Sand & Lace Gallery and in Wadsworth at Brush Tips Studios.

On Sunday, July 11 at 5 pm, Kelly Harrison, art teacher at Brunswick Middle School, and friends will be decorating the corner arches of Medina’s Public Square with colorful foam flower decorations made by her art students at Brunswick Middle School. This would be a great photo opportunity!
